Mette holds a Master’s degree in law and works as a legal consultant in BL – Danish Federation of Non-Profit Housing Providers. She is employed with us on a fixed-term internship, assisting on our construction and procurement law work.

One of the things she likes about this work is that construction is contract-based rather than statute-based. The AB system, by and large a uniquely Danish phenomenon, provides a set of agreed standard terms and conditions that are used in virtually every construction project.

Also, construction processes are often lengthy and complicated affairs, and the parties often find themselves wrestling with unforeseen problems. In any such instance, Mette expertly brings her professionalism and experience into play, offering constructive and actionable advice to move things forward.
