An assistant attorney, Sarah works primarily in procedural law and litigation across a variety of practice areas. She also works with EU law, again covering a wide range of topics.

In procedural law, where her discerning input is sought by insurance companies, public clients and others, she especially appreciates the craftsmanship required in building a strong, coherent, and robust line of argumentation. She also enjoys the varied nature of the work, no two cases ever being the same.

EU law is, to her, rewarding because of the international aspects. EU legislation differs from national legislation in many ways, and this raises a number of challenges that she enjoys grappling with and overcoming. While studying for her Master’s degree, she wrote a prize thesis on corporate sustainability due diligence in the context of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive.

It is important for Sarah to always be thorough and realistic in her advice, and she insists on producing, for every case and every client, the solution that best suits that particular case and client.
