An expert adviser on loans, export finance, project finance and derivatives, Thomas helps banks and borrowers build and negotiate complex financing structures.

With previous experience from Danske Bank, where his areas of responsibility included interest rates and currency hedging in loan agreements, followed by more than a decade working at the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg, Thomas’ insight into banks’ financial and commercial deliberations is second-to-none.

He advises banks and borrowers on the financing of major Danish and international projects in sectors such as infrastructure, energy, defence and security and has extensive experience in loan financing, export finance, structured finance, project finance, as well as venture debt.

Through his years of experience, Thomas has built robust and long-standing relationships with banks and borrowers whose financing needs range from EUR 28m to EUR 1.5bn. He knows their business, knows what their needs are, and how to successfully structure and negotiate finance arrangements to meet those needs. He is also a sought-after sparring partner on commercial and strategic financing decisions.

Thomas holds an LL.M. in Corporate Finance from the University of Westminster in London, with distinction.
