Insolvency law, in particular, he finds engaging because of the inherent sense of justice in trying to mitigate the losses of creditors impacted by, say, the bankruptcy of a business. He also appreciates the challenges arising from the fact that insolvency work touches upon such a diverse variety of legal disciplines and from the fact that insolvencies are not infrequently litigious affairs, requiring the exchange of pleadings and persuasive legal argumentation.
