Municipal law – advice, legal proceedings and inter-municipal reimbursement

Through many years of collaboration with Denmark’s municipalities and regions, we have built up expansive knowledge of the special conditions they are required to adhere to. We advise on general municipal law (municipal legal practice) and a wide range of legal issues that affect Denmark’s municipalities and regions.

We have broad experience advising on issues related to municipal legal practice, including municipal participation in ‘section 60’ (inter-municipal) companies and establishing and operating municipal companies. We draw on this experience to advise municipalities and companies, such as public transport companies, on issues related to the interface between public and private sector law. We have considerable litigation experience with municipal and regional clients – especially health and social law issues. We are also one of Denmark’s leading specialists in cases related to inter-municipal reimbursement.
